I was born and raised in Morristown, Tennessee. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministry/ Preaching from Johnson University in Knoxville, Tennessee where I was blessed with the opportunity to play basketball during my time in college. I married my wife Brittani in November of 2014. I began serving as Youth Minister at Talbott Baptist Church in Talbott, Tennessee in May of 2014. I enjoy spending time with my wife and our dog Ainge, watching basketball and football (especially Duke University!), and getting outside any chance I get (playing basketball, golf, hiking, and the beach).

History

Covenant Church was established as a body of believers to worship and glorify God. Their first worship service took place on June 1, 1986. They located by faith to the present property at 210 Station Rd. Wilmington, N.C. in June of 1987 believing that God would use them as a Christian witness in the community.

Service Times

  • Sunday Morning - 9:15am - 10:15am
  • Wednesday Night - 6:45

Beliefs

  • That there is one God existing in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
  • The Bible is the inspired Word of God.
  • That salvation is God's forgiveness of a person's sin because of Jesus Christ's death on the cross. Salvation is totally a work of God's grace, a free gift of God through faith and repentance in the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • That salvation is eternal and cannot be lost or taken away.
  • That the church is one universal, invisible body, which is made up of all those who have placed their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • In both an eternal place of blessedness reserved for those who have trusted Christ and an eternal place of tornment for those who have rejected Him.
  • We believe the two ordinances of the church are the Lord's Supper and Water Baptism.
